Careers in Music: Librarian

 A music librarian is responsible for checking out and reshelving books, music scores and recordings. When new books or recording come in, they are responsible cataloging these resources. Their knowledge of musical history, music composers and musicians allow them to guide library visitors to information that they are interested in.  A knowledge of library science and music is required for this position.
