The Four Seasons is the best known of all of Vivaldi’s work. It is a group of four violin concerti with each movement giving musical expression to a season of the year – Spring, summer Fall, and Winter. They were written around 1721 and published in 1725. Two easy piano arrangements are included in this post for Spring and Autumn.

About the Composer
Antonio Lucio Vivaldi (March 4, 1678 – July 28, 1741), nicknamed il Prete Rosso (“The Red Priest”), was a baroque composer and Venetian priest, as well as a famous virtuoso violinist, born and raised in the Republic of Venice. The Four Seasons, a series of four violin concerti, is his best-known work and a highly popular baroque piece.
