MMF! Summer Stars Online Music Festival (Piano)

Here’s a new online music festival for your elementary music students. MakingMusicFun.net is introducing this festival to piano students first. If it’s a success, they will expand it to become an opportunity for more instrumental and vocal students next year.

MMF! Summer Stars Online Music Festival 2012 | FAQ’s

Here are a few of the requirements here:

  • The festival is open to piano students* ages 6-12 at the time they record their video performance.
  • Musical selections are limited to arrangements from the MMF! Free Sheet Music for Piano Index, Graded Lesson Books (Alfred’s, Piano Adventures, etc.) Classical Music Anthologies, Disney songs, and Broadway scores.
  • Students must have studied for one year prior to application.
  • Students must be currently studying with a private teacher.
  • Students may submit a video performance of one piece not exceeding 5 minutes in length.
