Beginner Piano Lesson Books
The following list of beginner piano lesson books are great resources for the first year of instruction. Primers are perfect for 5-6 year old students. Level 1 piano lesson books are perfect for 6-7 year old students. If students are 9 or older I recommend the Alfred Adult Beginner Book Level 1. It’s most the same songs, but none of the cute illustrations that younger kids would enjoy. I’ve also included a wonderful Level 2 piano book that students might be able to enjoy near the end of their first year of instruction.
